Emotional Freedom Technique/ "Tapping"

WHAT IS EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE?

Also called EFT or simply "tapping", Emotional freedom technique is an alternative treatment for physical and emotional pain.  It falls under the category of "Energy Psychology" and focusses on the mind/body connection. 

 

EFT operates on the premise that no matter what part of your life needs improvement, there are unresolved emotional issues in the way. 

Similar to acupuncture and based on Chinese Medicine, EFT focuses on tapping meridian points to restore balance to your body’s energy.  

Based on Chinese medicine, meridian points are thought of as areas of the body energy flows through. These pathways help balance energy flow to maintain your health.   Any imbalance can influence disease or sickness.

Acupuncture uses needles to apply pressure to these energy points.   EFT uses fingertip tapping to apply pressure.
