The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is a sound-based nervous system regulation program developed by Dr. Stephen Porges, the researcher behind Polyvagal Theory. It uses specially filtered music to stimulate the vagus nerve and help the nervous system move into a state of safety and calm. It is delivered individually with clinical support from Tracy Kennedy, RSW.

The Rest and Restore Protocol (RRP) is a sound-based program designed to guide the nervous system into deep rest and recovery. It supports sleep, calm and an increased capacity for relaxation. It is used alongside or following the Safe and Sound Protocol.

Who is the Nervous System Reset for?

The Nervous System Reset is for adults in Ontario and British Columbia who are experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, burnout, nervous system dysregulation, difficulty relaxing, hypervigilance, or sensory sensitivity. It is available as a standalone program or integrated into individual therapy.

How is the Nervous System Reset delivered?

Sessions are delivered virtually via the Unyte app, which clients access on their own device. Tracy Kennedy provides individual clinical support throughout the program. Available to adults in Ontario and British Columbia.

Do I need to be in therapy to do the Safe and Sound Protocol?

Not necessarily. The Safe and Sound Protocol can be completed as a standalone program with clinical support from Tracy Kennedy, or integrated into ongoing individual therapy sessions.
